In the announcement, the company stated that it will update its app for iOS and iPadOS to include the new option. Interestingly, the new feature became available without requiring an update from the App Store, indicating that it was activated after a change on the company’s servers.
The new feature provided by Netflix for iOS users is available for all series in the service catalog, located next to the share option. However, as mentioned, the functionality is subject to subscription plan limitations.

On the ad-supported plan, downloads are limited to 15 episodes. For ad-free plans, this limit is increased to 100 active downloads. Since the ad-supported subscription option is not active in Turkey, it can be said that users have access to 100 downloads.
The platform also offers an automatic download option to make consuming content offline easier. This means that if users download an entire season within the limits, the platform will likely automatically download the first episodes of the next season.
