New information about Apple’s foldable iPhone model, which has been talked about in the technology world for a long time, has come. While it was previously claimed that the device would be in flip style, the latest leaks show that Apple is leaning towards a book-style design. Here are the latest details about the foldable iPhone!
Apple’s foldable iPhone model will be different than expected
Digital Chat Station, known for its leaks, gave important information about the prototype Apple is testing in its latest post on Weibo. Accordingly, the outer screen of the device will be 5.49 inches and the inner screen will be 7.74 inches. These dimensions show that Apple offers a more compact design compared to its competitors. For example, devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold have larger screens.

According to the source, the outer screen of the foldable iPhone model will have a similar structure to Oppo’s Find N model, but will be shorter and wider. When the phone is opened, users will be greeted by a 7.74-inch inner screen. Apple aims to offer a different screen ratio to its users by turning the foldable iPhone into a mini tablet experience. It is stated that the company wants to ‘reshape the foldable ecosystem’ by adopting a different approach from existing foldable devices.
On the other hand, Apple is preparing to make design changes in the iPhone 17 series, which is expected to be introduced in 2025. iPhone 17 Pro is rumoured to come with a triple camera module and new sensor placement. It is suggested that the foldable iPhone may have a similar camera design.
Apple is expected to launch the foldable iPhone model in 2026. However, there is no clear information about the official name and exact release date of the device yet.
