Disney has shared the latest information about the newest series and films to be released on the big screen and on the digital service Disney+ until 2026. Preparations have been completed for films set to be released by 2026, including Star Wars, The Mandalorian & Grogu, and Toy Story 5.
Disney films set to be released until 2026 have been announced
Disney announced that it has postponed the live-action adaptation of Moana to July 10, 2026. It also stated that The Mandalorian, the Disney+ series, will have a cinema film adaptation titled The Mandalorian & Grogu, which will meet audiences on May 22, 2026.
Toy Story 5 will continue the beloved animation series by hitting the screens on June 19, 2026. Following these projects, Disney will focus on revitalizing the Star Wars universe.
In addition, the standalone Tron: Ares set in the world of Tron films is planned to be released on October 10, 2025. With leading names like Jared Leto and Greta Lee, the Tron universe is expected to attract attention once again.
The spy thriller film The Amateur, starring Rami Malek and Rachel Brosnahan, is set to meet audiences on April 11, 2025. The comedy-horror film Nightbitch, led by Amy Adams, will hit theaters on December 6, 2024.
