Togg, Turkey’s domestic automobile brand, entered a new era in its board of directors with the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting held last week. With the changes made after the meeting, new names joined the Togg Board of Directors.
New term in Togg Board of Directors
Hakan Ülken replaced M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu representing the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Talip Altuğ Aksoy replaced Tuncay Özilhan representing the Anadolu Group, and Olgun Zorlu replaced Bekir Cem Köksal representing the Zorlu Group.
At the first meeting held on October 3, Fuat Tosyalı was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Ahmet Nazif Zorlu assumed the role of Vice Chairman. Fuat Tosyalı, who took over the task, emphasized Togg’s goal of becoming a global brand with exports starting in 2025.
Fuat Tosyalı, who was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Togg, said: “Our goal with Togg is to achieve the success we have achieved in our country in global markets with our exports starting in 2025, and to become a global technology brand as we aimed when we set out. I wish our new board of directors success in our endeavor to achieve this goal.”
Wishing success to the new board of directors, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they have accomplished great things with Togg. Stating that he was proud of the success achieved by Togg in a short time, he expressed that he would continue to support the new management and Togg employees.
The names on the Board of Directors were Fuat Tosyalı, Ahmet Nazif Zorlu, Kamilhan Süleyman Yazıcı, Talip Altuğ Aksoy, Ali Taha Koç, Şerif Yavuz Tosyalı, Şenol Kazancı, Olgun Zorlu and Hakan Ülken.
With the new management team, Togg will continue to progress towards becoming an assertive brand in the global market.
