Apple is currently working intensively on the iOS 27 operating system. According to the latest information from Bloomberg, this new version, due to be released in 2026, will bring major innovations, particularly in artificial intelligence and Siri.

iOS 27 Operating System and New AI Features

Technology giant Apple continues its preparations for the next major update, iOS 27, in addition to the current iOS 26 version. Reliable source Mark Gurman shared the first details about the version, which will be official at WWDC27. Accordingly, the main focus will be on artificial intelligence.

According to Gurman’s report, Siri will first become more intelligent with the iOS 26.4 update, due in March or April. This improvement is reportedly powered by an AI model from Google. However, the real major change will occur with the new version, expected in September 2026. Siri will undergo a complete design and visual overhaul with this release.

The innovations the new operating system will bring are not limited to Siri. According to reports, Apple will also launch a new AI-based web search engine with iOS 27. It’s also reported that users will be offered an AI-powered health-focused assistant.

While Apple is working on the new update, support for the current version, iOS 26, continues. The company states that the iOS 26 update offers a striking new design and smart experiences. This version, which integrates Apple Intelligence, also includes improvements to the Phone and Messages apps.

iOS 26 is available for the iPhone 16 series, iPhone 15 series, iPhone 14 series, iPhone 13 series, iPhone 12 series, iPhone 11 series, and iPhone SE (2nd generation and later).
