Vivo is preparing to add a new member to its Y300 family, which it launched a few months ago. The Chinese manufacturer has been working on the vivo Y300 5G model and is set to unveil it in the coming days. So, when will this smartphone be introduced and what will it offer?

vivo Y300 5G Launch Date and Features

Vivo plans to launch the Y300 5G model on December 16 in China. A key detail to note here is that the brand had already introduced a smartphone with the same name in India at the end of November.

According to reports and promotional materials shared by the brand, the two devices have completely different designs. Although details on the specifications are not fully confirmed yet, it’s likely that the devices will differ significantly in terms of features as well.

The device in China will have a square-shaped camera design with rounded corners, unlike the vertical camera setup on the Indian variant. Additionally, in collaboration with Chinese acoustic component manufacturer AAC Technologies, the model will feature a large speaker placed at the center of the camera island.

Although technical details are currently limited, it is known that the vivo Y300 5G will be 7.79 mm thick and will be powered by a 6,500 mAh battery. Moreover, the front panel is expected to feature a function similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island.
