Nothing released the camera-focused update for Phone (2)

About two weeks ago, Nothing released the first update to its latest smartphone, the Phone (2). While the earlier update brings a lot of improvements and fixes, the company has now started to release the second update to the Phone (2). According to the official release notes, the latest update brings a lot of camera improvements and a few fixes for some bugs. Here are the details about the Nothing Phone (2) update…

Nothing Phone (2) receives Nothing OS 2.0.2 update

The newest update is also bringing the July 2023 security patches, which are improving the security of the device. However, the main focus of the update is the camera issues. You can now experience enhanced photo clarity, faster HDR processing speed, enhanced photo clarity in 50-megapixel mode, and more. If you would like to get the latest update, you can update your Phone (2) by following Settings > System > System Update.

Nothing explains, “So Nothing OS 2.0.2 is ready. This is just for Phone (2) users right now, but we will be launching the latest version of Nothing OS 2.0 for Phone (1) before the end of August.” Let’s check the release notes of Nothing OS 2.0.2:

• Enhanced photo clarity

• Improved responsiveness of the touch panel under certain conditions
• Improved reliability of network for multiple global carriers
• Enhanced performance of some games when played in HDR
• Improved system stability

• Amended issues with Dirac Audio
• Resolved an issue affecting Google Wallet functioning in cloned apps
• Fixed an issue causing ‘double tap to wake’ to be unresponsive at times
• Resolved an issue causing the Bluetooth Quick Settings tile to be unresponsive at times
• Other general bug fixes
