Nothing has introduced its budget-friendly phone, which has been on the agenda with leaks for a while. The device, called Nothing Phone 2a, is the company’s third smartphone. It is also intriguing as the first model to be released this year.
What does Nothing Phone 2a offer?
Phone 2a is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It features a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and dual 50 Megapixel rear cameras.
RAM and storage options are available in three variants: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. The device, which will come out of the box with Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5, also includes a simpler Glyph lighting compared to other models. The lighting can be customized for 15 functions, as well as ten new ringtones and notification sounds.
The striking point of Phone 2a was its cameras. It features a dual rear camera setup with two 50 Megapixel sensors. The main 50 Megapixel sensor comes with an f/1.88 aperture lens and 1/1.56-inch size with OIS and EIS support.
The secondary 50 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor has an f/2.2 aperture and 114-degree field of view. On the front, there is a 32 Megapixel camera embedded in the screen.
Nothing Phone 2a will be available in various markets from March 12. Pricing is set at 330 euros.
