Nothing continues its efforts to expand its share in the smartphone industry. The brand is preparing to launch the Nothing Phone (3a) on March 4. Expected to follow an affordable pricing strategy like its predecessor while offering competitive specs, the device has recently made headlines with a new development.
Nothing Phone (3a) Receives TRDA Certification
The Nothing Phone (3a), listed under the model number A059, has appeared in the TDRA database. While the listing does not reveal any technical details about the device, it indicates that everything is set for the launch.

According to recently leaked images from reliable industry sources, the Nothing Phone (3a) will feature a dedicated camera button for launching the camera app, taking photos, and recording videos. This button will be positioned on the side of the phone.
Naturally, this development brings to mind Apple’s Camera Control button introduced with the iPhone 16 series last year. Although it’s not confirmed yet, the camera button on the Phone (3a) is not expected to offer as many advanced features as Apple’s implementation.
Additionally, the smartphone will reportedly come with a triple-camera setup, including a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP 2x telephoto lens, and an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, a 32 MP selfie camera is expected.
Other leaked specifications include a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.
