Huawei has officially launched the Nova 15 Ultra as the top-tier model in its latest Nova 15 smartphone series. While still aimed at the mid-range, this device packs enough hardware to turn heads, including a 120 Hz OLED display, three 50 MP cameras, and Huawei’s latest Kirin 9010S chipset.
Nova 15 Ultra gets sleek new dual-ring design

One of the most visible changes is the new dual-ring camera layout, setting the Nova 15 Ultra apart from past models. It’s not just for show either inside those rings are three 50 MP RYYB sensors: a stabilized main camera, a 3.7x periscope telephoto lens, and an ultrawide shooter with a 118° field of view. On the front, there’s a 50 MP selfie cam alongside a 1.5 MP multispectral sensor, all tucked into a pill-shaped cutout.
Kirin 9010S powers the Nova 15 Ultra
At the heart of the Nova 15 Ultra is the Kirin 9010S Huawei’s latest in-house processor. It offers an 18% performance bump over the previous Kirin 8020 chip, according to Huawei. While it’s not built to go toe-to-toe with flagship silicon like Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it’s more than enough for multitasking and high-refresh gameplay on this device’s 6.84-inch LTPO OLED screen.
The panel delivers a 120 Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 4,000 nits, and 2856 x 1320 resolution. Kunlun glass adds drop and scratch resistance, making it one of the tougher mid-tier phones on the market.
Here’s what the Nova 15 Ultra offers:
