Nubia has officially unveiled its clamshell foldable phone, the nubia Flip3, in Japan, alongside its first book-style foldable model, the nubia Fold. However, sales of the device won’t begin until mid-January 2026. Here are the features and details of the new foldable phone.
Dimensity 7400X, Large Cover Display, and 4,610 mAh Battery!
The Nubia Flip3 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, a chipset optimized for foldable phones. This chipset aims to deliver sufficient performance for everyday use and multitasking. It is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

The display features are quite striking:
- Flexible Inner Display: 6.9-inch with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
- Outer Cover Display: 4-inch AMOLED cover display for ease of use. This size offers a larger preview and notification area than many of its competitors.
The device comes with a dual rear camera setup:
- 50MP Primary Sensor
- 12MP Ultra-Wide-Angle Lens
Front Camera: A 32MP camera is available for selfies.
Nubia has equipped the Flip3 with a 4,610mAh battery, which is quite high for a foldable form factor. Charging speed is stated as 55W.
The Flip3 will run Android 15 out of the box and will be available in Black and White. Other technical features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP54 dust and splash resistance, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC.
The company will announce the price and full details of the Nubia Flip3 when it goes on sale in January 2026.
