Nvidia has released a new “hotfix” driver update to fix a temperature sensor issue that was detected on GeForce graphics cards. The update, available with version 576.15, specifically targets the sensor bug that was experienced in version 576.12.
Nvidia has fixed a major issue with its new update
Some users who previously installed version 576.12 reported that their graphics card temperatures were being reported incorrectly when they woke their computers from sleep or low-power mode. Nvidia confirmed that this was causing missing or incorrect temperature information in hardware monitoring tools.

This issue is being addressed with the 576.15 hotfix. It is stated that the new driver is based on version 576.02. This means that other bugs in the previous version have also been addressed.
A number of issues that specifically affected GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards have also been fixed. These fixes include shadow flickering and distortion in some games, crashes when entering render mode in Lumion 2024, errors during shader compilation, black screen issues when exiting modern standby mode, and random V-SYNC micro stutters when using multiple displays.
Additionally, some users reported that their graphics cards were slowing down to lower clock speeds when idling after installing version 576.02. It is stated that version 576.15 also fixes this issue.
Users who want to install the update can download the driver from Nvidia’s official website or through the Nvidia app. After entering the “Drivers” tab in the app, the 576.15 hotfix version can be selected and the installation process can be started.
