NVIDIA Officially Releases GeForce 556.12 Drivers: Here Are the Details
Today, NVIDIA has officially released the latest version of its GeForce Game Ready drivers. The 556.12 WHQL version includes first-day optimizations for newly released games, ray tracing (RTX) support, DLSS 3.5, and ray reconstruction support.
These new drivers not only integrate next-gen technologies into new games but also include numerous bug fixes and issue resolutions.
Nvidia Expands DLSS Support with the New GeForce Drivers
One of the major fixes in the Nvidia GeForce 556.12 WHQL Game Ready drivers is the memory insufficiency error experienced by players of The Last of Us Part 1. Additionally, issues such as game crashes during the loading screen in Halo Infinite and high ping caused by GeForce drivers in Valorant have been resolved.
With the new drivers, new games capable of offering optimal settings for GeForce Experience have been added. This includes titles such as Bodycam, EA Sports F1 24, Pax Dei, and Soulmask, which can now be optimized for your system with a single click.
The drivers released by Nvidia support the RTX 40, RTX 30, and RTX 20 series, as well as the GeForce 16, GeForce 10, GeForce 900, and GeForce 700 series. You can download and install the latest Nvidia drivers by clicking here.
