The expected performance of the RTX 4060 Ti is slightly better than the RTX 3070, which was priced at $499. Given the pricing trend of the RTX 4070, which offers RTX 3080 performance for $100 less, the $50 price difference between the RTX 4060 Ti and the RTX 3070 seems reasonable.
Nonetheless, some consumers might question the higher price tag for the upcoming graphics card, considering that it offers less actual GPU hardware compared to previous models in the series. As Nvidia increasingly relies on the promise of DLSS 3.0 and Frame Generation technology to deliver better performance, customers might be paying more for software improvements rather than hardware advancements.
