The technical specifications of the GeForce RTX 5070 SUPER model, which Nvidia has not yet introduced, have come to light. The latest information shows that the card will come with significant improvements over its predecessor, the RTX 5070. The new model stands out especially with its remarkable increase in memory capacity.
The RTX 5070 SUPER will appear
According to the leak, the RTX 5070 SUPER uses the GB205-400-A1 GPU based on the Blackwell architecture. This GPU increases the RTX 5070’s 6144 CUDA core count to 6400. The increase in the number of cores is at the level of 4.1 percent.

However, the real difference emerges on the memory side. The card is equipped with GDDR7 memory at 28 Gbps and offers a total of 18 GB VRAM over a 192-bit data bus. This means a 50 percent increase compared to the 12 GB memory of the current RTX 5070. The increased memory capacity provides direct benefits in areas such as playing games at high resolutions or producing content that requires intensive graphics processing.
While the data path width and memory speed remain the same, the increase in power consumption is also noticeable. The total card power (TBP) of the RTX 5070 SUPER increases to 275W compared to the 250W value of the RTX 5070. This means an increase of approximately 10 percent.
Information about the pricing of the card was also included in the leak. It is said that the RTX 5070 SUPER could be offered for sale at the same price as the RTX 5070, namely $ 549. If this happens, the product, with its 18 GB VRAM capacity, could stand out as a strong alternative in its segment in terms of price-performance.
The first major technology event of 2026, CES, is indicated as the introduction date of the new graphics card. Nvidia is expected to officially announce the card at CES 2026.
