According to a new leak on the forums, NVIDIA is taking its time with the GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” series of graphics cards. Accordingly, the launch, which was expected to take place later this year, has allegedly been postponed. Instead of launching the entire series, the company will only introduce the GeForce RTX 5090 this year.
Launching only the RTX 5090 in 2024 reflects a very different policy. NVIDIA doesn’t want to waste the year and wants to save the RTX 50 series graphics cards for next year.
