NVIDIA made a comprehensive announcement for its performance-oriented graphics rendering technology DLSS. Accordingly, it was announced that DLSS support is coming to a few more highly anticipated games. It drew attention that Homeworld 3 is among these titles.
New games supporting NVIDIA DLSS in May
DLSS technology aims to increase frame rate and resolution in games based on artificial intelligence. Designed specifically for GeForce RTX graphics cards, this technology promises both performance and graphics quality improvements.
DLSS is being added to three more games this week. First, real-time strategy game Homeworld 3 is getting DLSS 2 support. Developed by Blackbird Interactive, it will allow players to duke it out in space battles. The game will be available on May 13th.
The other two games will be Bellwright and Incursion: Red River. For those who don’t know, Bellwright is an RPG game where players build settlements. Although it’s still in early access, it will offer DLSS 2 support for a performance boost.
Incursion Red River is an FPS shooter set in the post-war world of Vietnam. Players will be able to perform tactical missions either alone or with friends.
NVIDIA said there are more than 500 games that support DLSS and other RTX technologies. DLSS, in particular, improves graphics quality in games and allows players to get higher frame rates.
