vivo has been announcing the arrival of the X300 series in China for the past few days. While pre-orders began last week, the company hadn’t yet confirmed the design of the upcoming models. Today, vivo’s Vice President of Product, Huang Tao, released official images confirming the appearance of both the vivo X300 and X300 Pro. Here are the details.
vivo X300 Series Design and Highlights
According to Huang Tao, 2025 marks vivo’s 30th anniversary. The company, highlighting the success of the X200 series, which has reached over two million units and seen strong growth, describes the X300 as an “evolved” version. The device’s hand-feel, imaging capabilities, and overall performance are all improved.

The X300 Pro, meanwhile, is positioned as the “ultimate imaging flagship,” combining industry-leading photography with cutting-edge hardware. Official images show the vivo X300 series sporting a round camera module, similar to the X200 series but with a more elegant design. While the front design hasn’t yet been revealed, previous announcements confirmed that both the X300 and X300 Pro will feature a flat display.
The design continues vivo’s long-standing approach inspired by Eastern aesthetics. The cold-formed glass back, elegant transitions around the camera, and a slim 1.28 mm height difference create a more unified feel. Nature-inspired color options like “Lucky Color (Black),” “Easy Blue,” “Wilderness Brown,” and “Relaxed Purple” aim to provide a calm and refreshing experience.
The most striking feature of the X300 series is its fourth-generation Zeiss imaging system with dual 200-megapixel lenses. The X300 features a 23mm Zeiss 200-megapixel main camera, while the X300 Pro features an 85mm Zeiss 200-megapixel APO telephoto lens, considered one of the most advanced in the industry. Both cameras feature CIPA 4.5 and 5.5 stabilization, Zeiss T coating, and deep absorption glass.
For video recording, the X300 Pro supports 4K 60fps portrait recording, dual-focus 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR, and 4K 120fps 10-bit Log. Powered by a V3+ imaging chip and Dimensity 9500 processor, the series runs OriginOS 6 and is compatible with the Apple ecosystem. It also features a BOE Q10 Plus display with brightness down to 1 nit.
According to reports, the Vivo X300 series will be officially launched in China on October 13. This launch will be a significant event that will mark Vivo’s 30th anniversary.
