Google has been working on its mobile operating system, Android 14, for a long time. Since the first developer beta of Android 14 earlier this year, the company has completed the major process of the new OS. Yesterday, Google announced the Android 14 Beta 3 update with platform stability. Now, Samsung is expected to release the One UI 6.0 Beta update with stability. Here are the details about the One UI 6.0 Beta update…
One UI 6.0 Beta might be available in the coming weeks for high-end Galaxy devices
The latest Android 14 Beta updates are now available for Pixel devices only. In a few weeks, other Android phone manufacturers will start releasing the first betas to their devices. The most expected brand might be Samsung. The South Korean company is expected to release the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 Beta in July 2023 for its high-end phones and tablets.
Although Samsung hasn’t shared any details about the upcoming update, we can assume that the One UI 6.0 will be a major update for Galaxy devices. It will bring improved privacy and security, faster performance, and improved usability and app design for larger devices.
Additionally, it will bring Material You+ design, Ultra HDR image format, Predictive Back gesture, improved drag-and-drop support for files and text between apps, more physical keyboard shortcuts, detailed battery health statistics, and multi-column UI.
We know that Samsung will bring the first beta update to its flagship phones. Samsung Galaxy S23 series will likely be the first phones to receive the One UI 6.0 update. The Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, and others will receive the upcoming update, respectively.
