A few days ago, the company confirmed that it would hold its 10th anniversary event on December 4, and the rumors claimed that the OnePlus 12 would launch at this event. OnePlus 12 to launch with repositioned Alert Slider
When we look at the official announcements, we can see that the upcoming smartphone will come with new features. According to the announcements, the company will introduce a new integrated antenna, and it will reposition the Alert Slider on the new device. While the Alert Slider is now on the left-hand side of the OnePlus 12, it will be on a new side to improve the antenna performance for gaming.
In the revealed images, OnePlus reveals that the phone will have a design with a centre punch-hole screen and three color options, including black, white, and green. Also, there is a “H” branding for Hasselblad camera system, and the flash is located outside the camera ring.
OnePlus says, “The repositioning of the Alert Slider presents a challenge in ensuring optimal antenna signal strength on the same side of the phone. To tackle this issue, OnePlus utilizes Ultra-compact Full-band Antenna technology and industry-first Alert Slider Antenna Integration technology to minimize the space occupied by the Alert Slider to the greatest extent possible.”
Depending on the earlier reports, we know that the OnePlus 12 will launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 24GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging support.
