OnePlus has unveiled its new smartphone, the Ace 6T. It’s the first smartphone to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. This makes devices powered by the 8 Gen 5 much more affordable, unlike flagship phones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.

This octa-core 3nm processor is paired with the Adreno 840 GPU. The Ace 6T comes in five different RAM and storage options. Prices start at $340 for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Other options include $380 for the 16GB/256GB model, $410 for the 12GB/512GB model, and $455 for the 16GB/512GB model. The top-tier model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is available for $525.
The OnePlus Ace 6T features a 6.83-inch, 1.5K OLED display on the front with a resolution of 2800×1272 pixels. The display supports variable refresh rates from 60Hz to 165Hz and utilizes 3840Hz PWM dimming and DC dimming technologies for eye health.
The panel features OPPO Crystal Shield Glass protection for durability. One of the device’s most notable features is its large 8300mAh battery, which is supported by 100W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.
On the camera front, the phone features a dual-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a Sony IMX906 sensor with a 50-megapixel resolution and f/1.8 aperture.
Additionally, the 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor with an f/2.2 aperture captures 112-degree ultra-wide-angle shots. The front camera offers 16-megapixel resolution. The Ace 6T comes out of the box with ColorOS 16, based on Android 16.
The device’s hardware includes up-to-date connectivity technologies such as stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and an infrared sensor. It also boasts a high-level IP69K dust and water resistance rating. For added security, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is used.
