The OnePlus Ace 6T just made its benchmark debut, and it’s already making waves. Geekbench listings confirm what teasers hinted at: this will be the first smartphone powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. If OnePlus wanted attention, it just got it.
OnePlus Ace 6T confirms Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 inside

According to the Geekbench listing, the device model number PLR110 is packing 16GB of RAM alongside Qualcomm’s latest silicon. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 isn’t to be confused with its more powerful sibling, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, found in higher-tier flagships like the OnePlus 15. Instead, this chip is tuned for performance phones with a tighter price point, blending speed with smart cost-saving.
Geekbench scores reflect serious performance
Benchmark numbers are in. The Ace 6T clocks 2,981 on single-core and 10,136 on multi-core using Geekbench 6. That puts it firmly in next-gen territory, outperforming many of today’s mid-range flagships and coming surprisingly close to the Elite series.
With this score, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 shows it’s no placeholder, it’s built to deliver speed without breaking budgets.
Highlights from the Geekbench listing:
- Model: PLR110
- Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5
- RAM: 16GB
- Single-core score: 2,981
- Multi-core score: 10,136
Global release for OnePlus Ace 6T still unconfirmed
One catch: global users might have to wait or miss out entirely. OnePlus hasn’t confirmed whether the Ace 6T will leave China. Past behavior gives hope; the OnePlus Ace 5 turned into the OnePlus 13R for international markets, albeit with tweaks. But this model, the first-ever “T” variant in the Ace series, might take a different route.
The first to fire, but not the last
With the OnePlus Ace 6T, OnePlus gets bragging rights for being first with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Whether it ships globally or not, it signals the next wave of performance phones is near. Others will follow but OnePlus got there first.
