OnePlus is gearing up to expand its Nord lineup once again, with the highly anticipated launch of the Nord CE 5 drawing closer. While the company has yet to make an official announcement, recent developments indicate that the launch is just around the corner.
OnePlus Nord CE 5 appears on Bluetooth SIG ahead of launch
The OnePlus Nord CE 5 has been spotted in the Bluetooth SIG database under model numbers CPH2717 and CPH2719. This certification milestone suggests that the device is nearly ready for its official debut. If everything goes according to plan, OnePlus is expected to unveil the phone on July 8.

Leaked details hint at some significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Nord CE 4. That device launched with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, a 50MP dual-camera setup, and a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. In contrast, the Nord CE 5 is said to feature a flat 6.78-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, it will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The battery is also getting a major boost, coming in at 7,100 mAh and supporting 80W fast charging. As for software, users can expect Android 15 right out of the box.
To give some perspective, here’s a quick snapshot of the Nord CE 4’s specs: it features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, dual rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor, and a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging. With the Nord CE 5 aiming higher in nearly every category, it could be one of OnePlus’s most compelling mid-range offerings to date.
