Leaked information from OnePlus appears poised to stir the tech world. The company is rumored to be preparing to announce two new phones in China next October: the OnePlus Ace 6 and OnePlus 15. What the two models share in common is that they will be powered by the latest, yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8-series processors. Here are the details.
OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 to Come with New Processors
Rumors suggest that the OnePlus 15 will be powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful next-generation processor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (also known as the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2), model number SM8850. This leak also reveals that OnePlus will release phones using two of the new Snapdragon 8-series chips. The model numbers for these chips are SM8845 and SM8735 Pro.

According to a reliable leaker like Digital Chat Station, the SM8845 chip is expected to launch as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. This powerful processor is rumored to power the OnePlus Ace 6. The Redmi K90, Honor GT 2, and a Realme Neo series phone are also rumored to use the same chip.
In addition to the previously released Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 with model number SM8735, OnePlus is also reportedly launching a phone using the SM8735 Pro chip. This SM8735 Pro is believed to be an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and is likely to launch as the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Plus or Pro.
Finally, the Turbo-branded smartphone that OnePlus plans to unveil before the end of this year is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Plus/Pro chipset. If these claims are true, OnePlus is sure to intensify competition in the smartphone market in the coming months.
