Smartphone and accessory manufacturer OnePlus has quietly launched its new wired headphones, which closely resemble the Apple EarPods in design. These new headphones, available as the OnePlus Half In-Ear Wired Digital Earphones Type-C, are priced at just INR 999 (approximately $11).

The headphones feature the classic half-in-ear design familiar from the Apple EarPods. This design eliminates the need for additional silicone ear tips. Due to the increasing rarity of 3.5mm audio jacks on smartphones, the headphones feature a Type-C wired connection. The cable is also made from skin-friendly materials.

Technically, the headphones use a digital signal interface (DSI) to support audio. This interface provides improved sound quality with a higher bit rate. The headphones feature large 14.2mm dynamic drivers custom-tuned by OnePlus’ acoustics team.

OnePlus claims the product offers a stable connection that allows for high-quality calls. The cable features a multifunctional inline remote control, including a dedicated button for controlling music controls and answering and ending calls. The Chinese brand is currently only offering these new wired Type-C headphones in white.
