The new version of Oppo Enco Air 2 has been unveiled. With the Enco Air 2 New Sound Edition, Oppo promises a much more advanced sound experience and a much longer battery life. The price of the new wireless headphones is also very competitive.
What does Oppo Enco Air 2 New Sound Edition offer?
The New Sound Edition shares the same design as the Air 2 but offers a few important upgrades. It now supports Bluetooth 5.3 for stronger connections, compared to Bluetooth 5.2 on the older model.
Oppo said the new headphones now support spatial sound effects for an enhanced audio experience. It also stated that it has Viper Atmos certification for surround sound.
One of the biggest changes was the significant increase in battery life. Oppo said that the New Sound Edition will be capable of up to 35 hours of use with the charging case. The Enco Air 2 offers 24 hours of battery life with the charging case.

Despite the significant upgrades, the headset still lacks active noise cancellation. It will be available in two color options, Sea Blue and Clouds.
Initial sales in China will start with a price tag of $25 for the New Sound Edition. It is unclear when it will expand beyond China to global markets.
