Oppo Pad Air 5 specs revealed ahead of Christmas Day launch

Oppo is closing out 2025 with the official release of the Pad Air 5, landing December 25 in China. While festive in timing, the tablet itself is more familiar than revolutionary, it appears to be a rebranded OnePlus Pad Go 2, now dressed in new colors and carrying the Oppo name.

The pre-order page for the Oppo Pad Air 5 is already live, confirming a few standout specs. Most notably, the tablet will feature a 2.8K resolution display paired with a huge 10,050mAh battery, setting it up as a strong contender for media consumption and general productivity.

Though Oppo hasn’t officially confirmed the full spec sheet, all signs point to a repackaged Pad Go 2, which would mean:

Oppo will offer both Wi-Fi-only and 5G variants. The Wi-Fi model comes in more configurations either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The 5G version appears to launch in just one configuration: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and only in Space Gray.
