Oppo’s new budget-friendly smartphone has completed certification by China’s MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). Listed with model number PLT120, the device has also received wireless certification under certification number 2025-21820. This is considered a strong indication that the device’s launch is imminent.
7,000 mAh Battery and Large Display Power
We don’t yet know what the PLT120 model number will correspond to in the marketing name, but the technical details in the certification are quite striking. The PLT120 comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1570×720 pixels. This panel is likely an LCD. The device’s dimensions are also quite large, measuring 166.6 x 78.5 x 8.61 mm and weighing 216 grams.
This hefty weight is likely due to the device’s large battery. The PLT120 has a 6,830 mAh nominal capacity cell. Oppo is expected to announce this battery as 7,000 mAh during the marketing phase.

Under the hood, the device features an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4 GHz. While the MIIT listing doesn’t reveal the exact name of the chipset, this configuration suggests the device will use a mid-range, 5G-capable chipset (SoC). Oppo appears to be generous with its memory options. Users will be able to choose from 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 512GB of storage.
Connectivity support includes all the core radio technologies, including dual SIM, 5G (NSA/SA), LTE bands, WCDMA, GSM, Bluetooth, and USB. On the camera front, the PLT120 keeps things simple. On the rear, there’s a 50MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, users will find an 8MP selfie camera.
The phone also supports fingerprint unlocking, facial recognition, and basic sensors like gravity, proximity, and ambient light. The device will likely run ColorOS, based on Android 15, though the version isn’t specified in the certification.
