Ahead of Google’s upcoming Made by Google event, all the technical details of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold have emerged. According to leaked information, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be the first foldable phone to be released with an IP68 certification.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold specifications revealed
This certification indicates that the device offers full protection against dust and water. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, currently available on the market, is IP48, while the HONOR Magic V5 and Vivo X Fold 5 are IP58. Google’s new model will set the stage in this area.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold features significant hardware upgrades. Maintaining a similar form factor to last year’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the device features an 8-inch main display complemented by a 6.4-inch external display. The new external display has been improved in both size and brightness.
Both panels offer a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. The external display has a refresh rate of 60-120Hz, while the foldable Super Actua Flex main display operates at a 1-120Hz refresh rate.
Powered by Google’s Tensor G5 processor, the device also features a Titan M2 security chip. The model comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers three UFS 4.0 storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. This is the first time Google has switched from UFS 3.1 to a higher-speed storage technology since the Pixel 6 series.
The camera system also features notable details. The device features a 48MP f/1.7 wide-angle main camera on the rear, supported by a 10.5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 10.8MP f/3.1 telephoto lens. The front features dual 10MP f/2.2 selfie cameras. The battery capacity has been updated to 5015 mAh, and the device supports 30W wired charging and up to 15W Qi2 wireless charging.
On the software front, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes with Android 16, and Google states that it will receive Android updates for seven years. The device combines foldable glass technology with an ultra-thin inner glass and an aerospace-grade aluminum body. The phone measures 155.2 x 76.3 x 10.8 mm when folded and 155.2 x 150.4 x 5.2 mm when unfolded, and weighs 258 grams.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, dual-band GPS GNSSS, Google Cast, UWB, and Thread support. The audio system includes stereo speakers, three microphones, surround sound, and wind noise cancellation.
On the AI side, the device supports features such as Gemini Nano, Gemini Live, Circle to Search, and Call Assist. The SIM card supports both Nano-SIM and eSIM.
As the countdown continues for the official launch of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, leaked specifications show that the device will take a prominent place among foldable phones both in terms of hardware and structure.
