This creative marketing strategy enabled the device to be sold for 6,050 euros, or approximately 6.500 dollars. The ad received 59 bids, showing that people were racing to get their hands on this rare kit.
Consolevariant stated that the seller used this interesting name to prevent Sony from removing the ad. It is known that PS5 developer kits were previously removed from auction sites, and Sony is thought to be behind this.
