The countdown has begun for the upcoming POCO X6 series, which stands out with its budget-friendly and competitive smartphones. The Pro model of the series, expected to be introduced very soon, recently surpassed a significant milestone. With this development, some of the previously leaked information has lost its validity.
POCO X6 Pro 5G features surfaced
The upcoming POCO X6 Pro 5G appeared in the NBTC database with the model number 2311DRK48G. While the listing does not reveal any technical specifications of the smartphone, it indicates that the launch is imminent.
It is well-known that rebranding is quite common among Chinese companies. At this point, it is said that the POCO X6 Pro model will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70e, which is set to be released in China today, featuring the Dimensity 8300-Ultra. Although the names and designs of the smartphones may be different, they will essentially have the same technical specifications. Previous reports claimed that the POCO F6 would be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70e, but with the latest development, these rumors have lost their validity.
Looking at the technical specifications of the Redmi K70e, it will feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution 12-bit OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the fingerprint reader, chosen as the security method, will be positioned under the screen. The device is said to be 8.05 mm thick and weigh 198 grams.
It will have a 16-megapixel front camera and a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor. Finally, it is worth noting that the device will be powered by a 5500 mAh battery that supports 90W charging speeds.
