This year’s celebrations offer players worldwide the opportunity to travel, play together, and enjoy unique experiences while capturing new Shiny Pokemon.

Participating in various locations globally, Pokemon Go Fest 2024 offers players worldwide the opportunity to journey, collaborate, and create lasting memories while capturing elusive Shiny Pokemon.

The in-person events for Pokemon Go Fest 2024 are scheduled as follows:
- May 30 – June 2, 2024; Sendai, Japan
- June 14 – 16, 2024; Madrid, Spain
- July 5 – 7, 2024; New York City, USA

Pokemon Legends: Z-A has been announced. Taking players back to Kalos after a long time, the production is coming in 2025.

During the global event, players can encounter various Pokemon, each associated with different habitats that rotate hourly over the two-day event. Additionally, there are special bonuses available during the festival, including extended Lure Module duration, themed Field Research, and surprise encounters in GO Snapshot.
Ticket holders can enjoy even more bonuses, such as increased chances of encountering Shiny Pokemon, multiple Special Trades per day, habitat-themed Collection Challenges, free Raid Passes, special 7km Eggs, and a Special Research task to encounter Marshadow.
