The gaming world has recently been rocked by Spider-Man 2. The Spider-Man series, which has been nominated as the best of the superhero games, has done a great job in this regard. But Daredevil: The Man Without Fear, first released in 2004, has resurfaced.
Why didn’t Daredevil: The Man Without Fear come out?
A playable demo and videos for the canceled 2004 Daredevil remake have surfaced on social media. The demo version of the game was shared by an engineer who worked at developer 5000ft almost 20 years ago.
The Man Without Fear was developed for PC, PS2 and Xbox platforms. The third-person beat ’em up style game suffered some setbacks. According to the notes in the demo, Marvel canceled the game as they felt it was moving away from the concept presented by Sony.
Earlier reports suggested that the cancellation was due to employee issues. Some employees allegedly didn’t give the game the necessary attention and were even uninterested in the project most of the time. While the version made available online is incomplete, it gives us a glimpse of Daredevil: The Man Without Fear, which was developed 20 years ago.
Some users believe that this leak is not random. Allegedly, Insomniac Games may be working on Daredevil DLC for Spider-Man 2. It should be reminded that there have been cryptic posts about Matt Murdock (Daredevil character) before.
