It was revealed that a five-person gang from the San Francisco Bay Area robbed an iPhone shipping center in Oregon by posing as FBI agents. The prosecutor’s office released the indictment for the movie-like robbery on August 5th.
According to a statement released by the US Attorney’s Office, the five suspects, Cankun He, Hailong Ma, Robert Maynard, Yuxiang Wei, and Jordan Cantie, are accused of orchestrating an organized conspiracy. According to the indictment, the incident took place on April 14th at a facility in Oregon where Apple products were reshipped.
Another iPhone theft has been added
The most striking detail of the robbery was the method used by the suspects. Robert Maynard and Jordan Cantie allegedly entered the parking lot of the facility using red and blue police lights installed on their vehicles. Wearing bulletproof vests and jackets with fake FBI logos, the suspects raided the facility.

According to authorities, Jordan Cantie drew his gun, threatened the employees at the facility, and handcuffed Maynard and all the other employees. Meanwhile, Hailong Ma and Wei were standing guard outside, while a fifth suspect, Cankun He, was reportedly the mastermind of the robbery. The gang stole approximately 200 Apple iPhones and five cameras from the facility and disappeared.
Prosecutors determined that the gang returned to California after the robbery and met with other individuals to sell the stolen phones. The investigation revealed that the suspects were not content with this robbery but were also planning a second iPhone theft.
Cankun He, Hailong Ma, Robert Maynard, and Yuxiang Wei were arrested and detained in operations conducted earlier this year. However, the fifth suspect, Jordan Cantie, who allegedly pulled the gun during the robbery, is reportedly still at large and is being sought.
