Rockstar Games has acquired Video Games Deluxe, a studio located in Sydney, Australia. With this acquisition, Video Games Deluxe will be renamed Rockstar Australia.
Rockstar acquires Video Games Deluxe
Video Games Deluxe has worked closely with Rockstar Games for many years. The studio has contributed to some of Rockstar’s most popular titles. In particular, it worked on the L.A. Noire remastered and VR version released in 2017. It was also involved in the development of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for mobile devices, Netflix and next-gen consoles.

With the addition of Rockstar Australia, Rockstar Games adds to its studios in the United States, United Kingdom and India. The Rockstar Australia team will continue to take an active role in future Rockstar projects.
