Leaked specs about Sony’s long-awaited next-generation console PS5 Pro have been confirmed by analysts. Although Sony has not yet made an official announcement, according to a leaked document, the PS5 Pro looks like it will take quality to the next level with its updated hardware. Here are the features of the highly anticipated PlayStation 5 Pro…
PS5 Pro’s 8-core Zen 2 CPU and 16GB GDDR6 memory specs confirmed
The next-generation console is powered by AMD’s Zen 2 processor with 8 cores and 16 tracks. The processor’s powerful structure increases the processing power of the console, allowing games to run more smoothly. On the graphics side, a next-generation 16.7 TFLOPS RDNA family GPU is used.
This GPU offers much higher performance than the current PS5’s 10 TFLOPS, allowing for faster and more detailed graphics. This will allow gamers to experience up to 60 FPS at 4K resolution and even 120 FPS at 1440p resolution.
It is also said that the PS5 Pro model will offer a more impressive gaming experience, especially at high resolutions, as it can offer this performance without sacrificing visual quality. As for memory capacity, PS5 Pro has 16 GB GDDR6 graphics memory and 2 GB DDR5 system memory.
That’s a significant improvement in terms of both graphics and overall system performance. In addition, the device’s 390 watts of power consumption is reasonable for this kind of hardware. On the storage side, there’s a 2TB SSD, which will please users, and this storage capacity can be increased thanks to the M.2 slot.
The PS5 Pro is also notable for its connectivity, offering Wi-Fi 7 support for high-speed internet connectivity. It also offers a wide range of connectivity options with two USB-A and two USB-C ports. One of the USB-C ports is reportedly capable of transferring data at 10 Gbps, meaning large files can be transferred quickly.
