Reacher, one of the popular series of Amazon Prime Video, became one of the most watched productions of the platform with its 3rd season. Based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher book series, the series reached a wide audience in the first two seasons.

Reacher reached a new record with its 3rd season

Season 3, which started on 20 February, broke a new record. Reaching 54.6 million viewers in the first three weeks, the series became one of Amazon’s most watched series with this success. Reacher’s viewership surpassed the platform’s other popular series, The Boys and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, among others.

According to the statement made by Amazon, no Amazon series has ever reached such a high viewership figure after the first season. The character of Jack Reacher had previously met the audience with the film series starring Tom Cruise.

The story of the series centres on Jack Reacher, who served in the military police and then became an independent detective, using his detective skills to solve crimes. Reacher is often involved in dangerous investigations that often pit him against powerful figures.

Alan Ritchson, who took the lead role in the 3rd season of the production, returned to the screens once again with the character of Reacher. In the new season, Reacher will fight against a major criminal organisation while trying to help an undercover agent.
