Today, Realme launched the newest member of the Realme 10 series, Realme 10s. While the new Android smartphone comes with mid-range specs, the company hasn’t launched an entirely new smartphone, but a phone similar to the Realme 9i 5G. The new Realme 10s has a lot of features that are similar to the Realme 9i 5G. Here are the details about the new Realme 10s.
Realme 10s becomes a good competitor in the mid-range market
The Realme 10s will be a good competitor in the mid-range market with its specs and price, especially in China. The new device launches with 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and 33W charging. The 10s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which has two 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 and six 2GHz Cortex-A55 cores.
On the display side, the new smartphone has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, a 401 PPI pixel density, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. There is a fingerprint scanner on the right edge of the device.
While the device has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front, it has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and an LED flash on the back. Unfortunately, the phone runs on Android 12 OS. The 10s comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB / 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage options. Additionally, it has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The Realme 10s is available in blue and black colors. While the 8/128GB model costs CNY 1,099 ($155), the 8/256GB version costs CNY 1,299 ($185). The new device is now available for pre-orders in China on the official website, and sales begin December 20.
