Realme GT5 launched with up to 240W fast charging in China

For a long time, Realme fans waited for the company’s latest high-end smartphone in the GT series. Now, the brand has finally unveiled the Realme GT5 in China. Realme GT5 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 24GB RAM

While the latest flagship GT5 comes with the best technologies, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is Qualcomm‘s most powerful chipset at now. Additionally, the company brings three versions of the smartphone, and the Realme GT5 is available in 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage options.

The company claims that the phone’s Whirlwind memory engine 2.0 support can keep up to 76 apps active at background. The new powerful device is the first Pixelwork’s IRX gaming experience certified mobile phone from Realme. On the display side, it has a Pro-XDR high dynamic 6.7-inch OLED screen from Tianma with a 144Hz refresh rate.

On the back, we can see that the Realme GT5 has a transparent RGB design with 4 halo light strips, and it is called Halo Pro. The Halo Pro includes 26 custom colors, new music rhythm, alarm clock light effects, and more. While the GT5 features a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging support, which can charge the device from 1 to 20% in 80 seconds.

The Realme GT5 comes in three versions. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs around $411, the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model costs about $452, and the top-end 24GB RAM + 1TB storage model costs approximately $520. You can order it now, and it will be available for purchase in China from September 4th.
