RedMagic’s long-awaited new gaming flagship, the RedMagic 11 Pro, is finally making its way outside of China. RedMagic 11 Pro Launches with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
The RedMagic 11 Pro positions itself above the RedMagic 10 Air in the global market, becoming the brand’s most powerful offering. Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This high-end processor is paired with RedMagic’s in-house developed Red Core R4 chip, which elevates the gaming experience to the next level.
The Red Core R4 handles tasks such as graphics upscaling and frame interpolation, delivering smoother and more visually rich gaming performance, particularly in supported games.
The global model features minor regional adjustments compared to the Chinese version. The global model boasts a 7,500mAh battery, compared to the 8,000mAh capacity in the Chinese model. The device supports 80W wired fast charging instead of the 120W in China. Fortunately, 80W wireless charging remains on the global model.
The display, a crucial component of any gaming phone, is packed with impressive features on the RedMagic 11 Pro. The 6.85-inch AMOLED display, with a 2,688 x 1,216 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, can reach a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
In true RedMagic tradition, the front camera is hidden beneath the screen, providing a completely seamless panel experience without any punch holes or notches. A 16MP under-display camera serves as the base for selfies and video calls. On the rear, there’s a dual 50MP setup (main + ultra-wide).
One of RedMagic’s biggest selling points, the active cooling system, remains on the global model. This system, combining liquid cooling, a vapor chamber, and a built-in fan spinning at 24,000 RPM, guarantees consistent performance even during long, intense gaming sessions. Furthermore, this sophisticated cooling technology is protected by IPX8 water resistance certification.
