Redmi 12C is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi brings various new devices to the Android smartphone market. The latest phone, the 12C, comes with the MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor, which has 2x 2GHz Cortex-A75, 6x Cortex A55 2GHz CPU cores, and up to 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 GPU. Additionally, the device has 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage options.
In terms of display, the Redmi 12C features a 6.71-inch (1650×720 pixels) HD+ display with a 20.6:9 aspect ratio. On the other side, the phone has a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture on the back, and it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The device also has dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, a micro USB port, and Dual SIM support. Additionally, the phone runs Android 12-based MIUI 13. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Redmi 12C comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging.
The 12C is available in Matte Black, Royal Blue, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple color options, and it costs RS. 8,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model, and Rs. 10,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The company announced that the phone will be on sale starting 6th April on the official website and authorized retailers.
