The countdown has begun for Xiaomi’s new flagship, the Redmi K80 Ultra. Reports so far indicate that the smartphone will be unveiled toward the end of this month. Recent developments have revealed design details of the device.
What will the Redmi K80 Ultra look like? Design revealed
Based on the promotional posters shared by Xiaomi, the Redmi K80 Ultra won’t look much different from last year’s K80 and K80 Pro models. The smartphone will feature a circular camera design positioned in the top right corner, similar to its predecessors.

Additionally, the model will have a matte finish. Although the shared image only shows the green version, it’s expected that other color options will be announced during the launch. According to sources, the circular camera setup will include a dual 50 MP camera system with OIS support.
Leaks suggest the Redmi K80 Ultra will come with a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED 1.5K display, a 7,500 mAh battery, 100W fast charging support, a metal mid-frame, and an IP68-certified body. The smartphone also recently appeared in the Geekbench database under the model number 25060RK16C, scoring 2,679 in the single-core test and 8,358 in the multi-core test.
The prototype listed on Geekbench is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset. It is also expected to feature 16 GB of RAM and run Android 15. Of course, other memory variants may also be available.
