Xiaomi has officially announced its highly anticipated new mid-range powerhouse, the Redmi Note 15 series, for the global market. The series comes in two versions to cater to various needs: the performance-oriented Redmi Note 15 5G and the budget-friendly Redmi Note 15 4G.
108 MP Camera and Stylish Design
Looking almost identical from the outside, these two models target different user groups in terms of hardware without compromising on design language. Both models feature a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display that elevates the visual experience. Offering FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, these panels can reach a very high brightness of 3,200 nits. Furthermore, an under-display optical fingerprint reader is standard on both devices.

The main difference between the devices lies in their processors:
- Redmi Note 15 5G: Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. It comes with RAM options ranging from 6GB to 12GB and storage up to 512GB.
- Redmi Note 15 4G: Uses the MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor, a more economical option. This model is available with 6GB or 8GB RAM options.
Xiaomi hasn’t held back on the main camera in either device. Both models feature 108MP main cameras with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support, using Samsung’s ISOCELL HM9 sensor.
However, there’s a difference in the auxiliary lenses:
- 5G Model: The 108MP main camera is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
- 4G Model: Only a 2MP depth sensor is included alongside the main camera.
- Selfie: Both devices feature a 20MP front camera hidden in a punch-hole cutout.
Interestingly, the 4G model excels in battery capacity, while the 5G model takes the lead in charging speed:
- Redmi Note 15 4G: Glacier Blue, Purple, Forest Green, and Black.
- Redmi Note 15 5G: Glacier Blue, Misty Purple, and Black.
Xiaomi has not yet officially announced the prices and countries where these models will be sold, but a good price-performance balance is expected.
