Apple expands its market share each year with the devices it announces, aiming to reach more users. However, instead of updating some models annually, Apple refreshes them after certain intervals. According to rumors, the entry-level iPhone SE will be renewed in 2025. Additionally, details about the improved iPad Air have been revealed. Here are the timeline details for the iPhone SE and iPad Air…
iPhone SE and iPad Air could be introduced early next year
Popular Apple analyst Mark Gurman has made predictions about the release date for Apple’s entry-level iPhone SE model. He stated that the iPhone SE will be introduced at the beginning of next year, and developments and accessories for the iPad Air could be announced around the same time.
The iPhone SE, Apple’s entry-level device, was last introduced in 2022. Expected to be renewed after approximately three years, the new model is anticipated to feature the A18 chip and take advantage of Apple Intelligence features. The design is expected to resemble the iPhone 14, and for the first time, the iPhone SE may feature an OLED display.
Unlike the iPhone 14, the iPhone SE will reportedly have a single rear camera. Additionally, the iconic iOS button will be removed in the new series, marking its disappearance from all Apple products. The 2025 iPhone SE is expected to have a starting price of $429, though it may be slightly more expensive due to new features.
While there are rumors about the 2025 iPad Air, these models are not expected to be introduced soon. According to Gurman, Apple will focus on internal developments for these devices. The code names for the expected iPads have been set as J607 for the 11-inch model and J637 for the 13-inch model.
