A new survey by a research company has revealed the dominance of the iPhone among American teenagers. The survey, conducted last September, interviewed more than 9,000 young people, but was similar to a previous survey conducted in April.
Apple’s dominance in the smartphone world continues to be impressive. According to the survey, 87 percent of young people use an iPhone. In addition, 88 percent of young people say that their next device will be an iPhone. This percentage has remained unchanged despite worsening economic conditions and rising iPhone prices.
The survey also measured Apple Watch and other wearable technologies. In April, 35 percent of teens wore the Watch, while in recent months the figure has been similar (34 percent). This means that 14 million American teenagers use the Apple Watch.
Apple Pay, on the other hand, was the most popular payment service among those surveyed. 42 percent of respondents have used Pay in the past month. The virtual and augmented reality market is also growing, with 31 percent of young people owning VR. This comes amid the excitement generated by Vision Pro.
It should be noted that this survey was conducted with users in the US. However, despite economic factors such as inflation and price increases, it revealed the loyalty of young people to Apple.
