Xbox Game Pass, which offered its subscribers massive titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Mortal Kombat 1 throughout December, is preparing to end the year with a bittersweet farewell. As it does every month, Microsoft has listed the games it will remove from its library at the end of the month. Due to the platform’s cycle, these two major titles will be inaccessible from consoles, PCs, and the cloud system as of December 31, 2025.
Games leaving the platform on December 31st
Following the departures of games like Mortal Kombat 11 and Still Wakes the Deep in the middle of the month, the end-of-month list has now been finalized. The games leaving the library on the last day of the year are the horror game Carrion and the realistic combat game Hell Let Loose. Subscribers can continue playing the games until this date, or if they want them to remain in their library permanently, they can purchase them at discounted prices exclusive to Game Pass members.

The first game to be removed from the list, Carrion, unlike typical horror games, puts players in the position of hunter, not hunted. In this game, we control a shapeless monster imprisoned in a research facility, hunting down scientists and trying to escape. With a short gameplay time of approximately 4.5 hours, players curious about this game still have plenty of time to finish it before December 31st.
The other game leaving the Xbox Game Pass library, Hell Let Loose, is a challenging FPS game that brings the battlefields of World War II to massive 100-player maps. With communication and strategy at the forefront, the game won the approval of fans of the genre with its realism. The development team is currently working on a sequel, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, which they plan to release in 2026 and which will focus on the Vietnam War era.
