Samsung Android 13 Beta for Foldable phones
With the Samsung Android 13 Beta, Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are getting some significant features such as a revamped lock screen, Modes, and more. Samsung has already released the update to select devices, but it is expanding the update to more devices. The Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy 21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Flip 3 are some of the devices that get already the beta update.
Samsung releases the beta update via the Samsung Members App. If you have one of the foldable phones, you can now register for the Android 13 Beta program. Thanks to the beta, you will find support for themed icons, privacy reminders, a revamped lock screen, and more. Of course, you shouldn’t forget that it is a beta version and it may have issues, and it’s still being developed.
The beta program is now available in the US and other countries, including India and Korea. To install the One UI 5 update on your Galaxy Z Fold 4, you need almost 3GB of storage availability. The update also brings the October 2022 security patch.
How to install One UI 5 Beta program
If you would like to install a beta build of One UI, you need the Samsung Members app. Then you can follow these steps:
- In the Samsung Members app, swipe through the top banner and find the card that reads One UI Beta Program. Tap it.
- Tap Register.
- Agree to the terms listed by taping Enroll and then Agree.
- Note: A pop-up may appear letting you know you are enrolled.
- Head to the settings by swiping down once and tapping the settings cog.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Software update.
- Tap Download and install.
- Your device will start downloading One UI 5 beta.
