Samsung has launched the Galaxy F17 5G in the Indian market. This new phone, the successor to the Galaxy F16 5G, features a thinner, lighter design, a redesigned camera module, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and Samsung’s own Exynos processor. The device retains the same screen size, battery, and camera setup as the previous model. Here are the details.
Galaxy F17 5G Comes with a Super AMOLED Display
The Galaxy F17 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone’s most significant update is the Exynos 1330 (5nm) processor, replacing the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 from the previous model. This processor is powered by a Mali-G68 MP2 GPU.

The device comes with 4GB and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. The Galaxy F17 5G runs Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box and, as Samsung promises, will receive six major operating system updates and six years of security updates.
Regarding the camera, the phone features a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera features a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a bottom-mounted audio jack, a USB Type-C audio jack, and NFC. The phone is IP54 dust and splash resistant, measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.5mm, and weighs 192 grams.
