Samsung announces updates for two more models

Samsung continues its ongoing work on software updates. The South Korean tech giant has released the August 2025 security patch for two of its models, fixing security vulnerabilities. So, which devices will receive this update?

August 2025 update released for Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra

The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are the latest Samsung devices to receive the August 2025 patch. The new update is currently available in South Korea. It will be available in other countries in the coming days.

If the update notification hasn’t automatically arrived on your device, you can manually update your phone/tablet to the new version by following Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. If you still can’t find the update after following these steps, you may need to wait a bit longer, as the patch may not have reached your region yet.
