Samsung is embarking on a comprehensive expansion of its mobile AI technologies. The company will deliver its Galaxy AI platform to 400 million devices by the end of 2025. This expansion, centered on the use of AI in mobile devices, was announced at the company’s 2025 Galaxy AI Forum.
Samsung to Expand Galaxy AI Features
According to data released at the forum, Samsung has expanded its Galaxy AI ecosystem, launched with the Galaxy S24 series, to over 200 million devices by 2024. This figure is doubling with the new target.

Samsung is supporting its advancements in mobile AI with the results of a joint study conducted with Symmetry Research. According to the findings shared by the company, positive attitudes toward mobile AI are growing among consumers.
47 percent of respondents stated that they rely heavily on AI in their daily lives and that their daily routines would be disrupted without AI-powered tools. 45 percent said they use voice commands as frequently as typing. This data demonstrates that mobile AI is strengthening its place in daily life.
The multimodal, proactive, and personalized features offered by Galaxy AI are reshaping user behavior. AI-powered search, personalized notifications, and voice assistant systems are among these features.
Samsung has laid the groundwork to expand these technologies not only to Galaxy S25 users but to a broader user base. The company stated that over 70 percent of Galaxy S25 users are actively using Samsung and Google AI tools, and that among these tools, usage of Google’s Gemini system has tripled in the latest series.
Samsung isn’t just confining its mobile AI development to software. Aiming to deliver a mobile experience where hardware and software work in harmony, the company is integrating AI-based features into users’ daily usage habits. With this strategy, particularly driven by the Galaxy S series phones, the company continues to push the boundaries of what mobile devices offer.
The expansion of Galaxy AI to 400 million devices is enabling mobile AI to reach a wider user base. During this expansion, the company prioritizes providing a reliable, seamless, and adaptable mobile AI experience. The vision outlined demonstrates that Samsung is shaping the competitive landscape in mobile technologies not only through hardware but also through AI-based services.
